TUITION

Masa Israel Teaching Fellows with the Israel Experience only costs $1,000 for the entire 10-month program. This heavily subsidized program is possible thanks to the generosity of Masa Israel Journey and the Israeli Ministry of Education, that provides a Masa grant for every eligible young adult, aged 21-30. 

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

The cost of MITF with Israel Experience covers housing, insurance, a monthly living stipend, free public transportation, staff guidance, an in-depth educational program, 60-hours teacher training, language instruction, trips and tours throughout Israel.

The living conditions include two participants per each room. Individual rooms are limited and available at an additional cost.

FLIGHT REIMBURSEMENT:

As part of the special subsidy for MITF with Israel Experience, participants are also entitled to airfare reimbursement from Masa Israel, for an amount up to and including $1000 USD. The reimbursement will be given upon successful completion of the 10-month Masa Israel program.

PAYMENT INSTALLMENTS:

The $1000 cost is divided into two payments:
Deposit: After being accepted to the MITF program, you will need to pay a $300 deposit to reserve your spot within 2 weeks from your acceptance.

Remaining amount: The deadline for completing payment, i.e. the additional $700, is one month after the $300 deposit is submitted.

Take note: The $300 deposit is non-refundable. The remaining amount is non-refundable after the deadline.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS

Masa Israel Journey offers a Masa grant and scholarships to Jewish individuals, 21-30, who have previously not participated in a 5+ month program in Israel. If you have ever been to Israel for longer than a 4 month period you are not eligible to receive Masa funding.
