MASA ISRAEL JOURNEY

Masa Israel Journey is a joint project of the Government of Israel and the Jewish Agency for Israel operating in over 20 different countries. Since 2004, Masa Israel has helped over 120,000 people from 60 different countries experience Israel. Masa is the leading company in immersive international experiences for young adults between the ages of 18 and 30. It gives participants the opportunity to connect to Israel on a deeper level through long programs they find interesting, offering scholarships, providing expertise, and support throughout the entire process. All of this is made possible by the generous contributions of the Jewish Federations of North America and Keren Hayesod-UIA.

The Masa Israel Teaching Fellows (MITF) program is a unique cooperation between Masa and the Israeli Ministry of Education, bringing dozens of talented and motivated Jewish college graduates to Israel each year. MITF participants serve as English teaching aides in schools around the country and help close the achievement gap in Israel’s education system. This program is a challenging and rewarding experience for each teaching fellow. As an English teaching aid in Israel, you will create relationships with students and help give them an important tool they will be able to use for the rest of their lives.

Being a Masa Israel Teaching Fellow is a once in a lifetime opportunity. This 10-month fellowship allows you to immerse into Israeli culture, become part of Israel’s society, and adapt to living abroad. Participants found suitable for Masa Israel Teaching Fellows are awarded most generous scholarships, provided by Masa Israel Journey and the Ministry of Education, leaving the program cost at only $1000 for the whole year (including housing, monthly stipend, public transport, insurance, etc).
