Masa Israel Journey, a joint project of the Government of Israel and the Jewish Agency for Israel, offers Jewish young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 immersive, life-changing gap year, study abroad, post-college and volunteer experiences in Israel, connecting them to programs that meet their interests, offering scholarships, providing expertise, and supporting them throughout the entire process. All of this is made possible by the generous contributions of the Jewish Federations of North America and Keren Hayesod-UIA.
The Masa Israel Teaching Fellows (ITF) program is a unique cooperation between Masa and the Israeli Ministry of Education, bringing dozens of talented and motivated Jewish college graduates to Israel each year to serve as English teaching aides in schools around the country and help close the achievement gap in Israel’s education system.
Participants found suitable for Israel Teaching Fellows are awarded most generous scholarships, provided by Masa and the Ministry of Education, leaving the program cost at only $1000 for the whole year (including housing, monthly stipend, public transport, insurance, etc).
